Paper 4: USA essay writting

The paper 4 in the I.G.C.S.E. exam asks you to write an essay on to a depth study that in this case is U.S.A. this essay had to be based in the following question:

How important were credit and hire purchase as a reason for the economic growth  in the USA in the 1920s?

In the 1920´s U.S.A. had a very important growth in economic, two reasons of improve were credit(a way of buyingsomething in wich you arrange to pay for it at a later time and hire purchase a method of paying for something in wich you pay part of the money owed immediately and the rest in small regular amounts until the whole amount is paid, the two of them take a big role in the improvements of the U.S.A. country.

On the one hand, in this time the banks and the people had confidence between each other so this led the people to ask for credits and hire purchases in the bank and the banks with the confidence gives the money to everyone that ask for them. This bring some changes, one of them is that the people with low income of money can buy the new manufactured goods also the new inventions of the time like the radio and the other change was that in the U.S.A. there were many new millonaires from investments based on borrowing money that consists on buying things and selling them immediately when the prices had rices.

On the other hand, people started to speculate in the buying of things so they started to buy shares of companies and invest many in them. In addition, the hire purchase appear more in the industries such as the motor industries. In this period the U.S.A. economy growth really fast, in fact the U.S.A. lent money to all thei allies and also sold of  munitions and arms to Great Britain.

As a conclusion, we can say that the credits and hire purchases were beneficial for the country, however people used them a lot and they speculated too much so this brings problem to the U.S.A. country.

Familia

En la clase de Sociología estuvimos viendo los distintos tipos de familia y la profesora nos plantéo la idea de hacer una presentación sobre ellas, la cual la dejo acá.

Personal description

In the class of E.L.T we were asked to write an essay of our own description, below is going to be my essay.

My name is Matias Castro Cendra, I was born in Capital Federal in the Suizo hospital and now I live in Adrogue near my school that is Newlands school, there I'm in fifth year of secondary school. I have a big sister who is 19 years old, she is studying in the university of Buenos Aires to became a medic.

I´m 16 years old, my average height is like a normal person but I don´t care about this and sometimes I can be funny.

My personally is very good, I like to hang around also I go to the club Pucara, where I play rugby on the other hand I also like playing football.

In conclusion, I´m a very good person and I enjoy school with my friends and also in the club.

Religions

In the class of global perspective we were told to create a presentation of religion were we had to include what is, benefits, weaknesses and up to what extent was religious beneficial.

Sociología

En la clase de sociología con la profesora Jimena Lara estuvimos analizando el significado de la disciplina Sociología y que temas les gusta estudiar a los sociólogos, pero para poder entender la Sociología hay que regresar en la historia y para eso tuvimos que buscar información sobre el origen de la Sociología y mostrar como era el contexto de crisis con el uso de pintura de la epoca para poder analizar el contexto.

¿Que es la Sociología?

La Sociología es una ciencia que trata del desarollo de las sociedades humanas y las condiciones de su existencia.

¿El origen de la Sociología?


En la primera parte del siglo XIX hubo 2 revoluciones en Europa, ellas son la revolución Industrial (Inglaterra) y la revolución Francesa (Francia).Gracias a las revoluciones hubo 3 crisis, que fueron la nueva concepción de la vida y del hombre, se rompen los lazos sociales y de autoridad pre moderna y pre capitalista y hay preocupación por recuperar la estabilidad y el orden social, a causa de esto surgen las naciones, los estados modernos, nuevos organizadores del poder y se extiende el capitalismo. Continuando, por causa de lo anterior se le da el origen al Iluminismo (la superioridad del hombre reside en la razón), la cual trae que el saber no conoce limites y que la Sociología:
                                                  -Remplaza ideas religiosas por otros ideales
                                                  -Fe en progreso
                                                  -Ciencia
                                                  -Individualismo
                                                  -Competividad

Vivir es recordar

En la clase de literatura, leímos una historia llamada "El recuerdo y el olvido en el barrio de Flores" escrito por Alejandro Dolina, en esta historia se encuentran dos distintos puntos de vista sobre el recordar, uno de ellos son los "Hombres sensibles"quienes creian que tenian que acordarse de todo si no seria como la muerte al olvidarse de todo y los otros personajes son los "Amigos del olvido" su punto de vista es el de olviidarse de todo por las cosas triste y tambien porque dice que cada uno se acuerda de las cosas de distinta forma. tambien estamos leyendo una opereta de Alejandro Dolina llamada "Lo que me costo el amor de Laura" en la que surgio una frase "VIVIR ES RECORDAR", desde esta frase en clase discutimos sobre el tema del recuerdo y lo asociamos en las dos historias, entonces tuvimos que escribir sobre quienes vendriamos a ser nosotros "Hombres sensibles o Amigos del olvido", aca abajo dejo mi texto:

Yo, estoy a favor de recordar algunas de las cosas, como las mejores que te pasaron en tu vida porque “Vivir es recordar”, si no te acordas es como si estuvieras muérto porque no sabrías nada de tu pasado ni quien sos, ni quien fuiste y no podrías reconocer a nadie.

Por ejemplo, yo me acuerdo de una gran anécdota de mi vida cuando vi por primera un partido de rugby sin él no sería quien soy ahora, me acuerdo muy bien que fue un partido de los Pumas frente a Francia en el Mundial de rugby en Francia EN el año 2007 en que el equipo argentino (los pumas) jugaron un partidazo ante los dueños de casa robándoles la felicidad a los locales; gracias a ese partido yo empecé a jugar el rugby y eso cambio mi vida.

Como una conclusión podríamos decir que yo pertenezco a los “Hombres sensibles”, ya que el recuerdo del rugby para mi es una gran parte de mi vida sin el seria otra persona o quizás ni siquiera sabría quien soy.

Wladimir Koppen´s says that the definition of the world climate mean that the Equatorial, Tropical Continental and Monsoon are fromGroup A: Tropical/Mega thermal climates, Hot desert and Cold climate are from Group B: Dry arid/semiarid climates, and Tundra belongs to Group E: Polar and alpine climates 

Equatorial climate is found in the equator line and 10 degrees north and south, the temperature are all the years between (26-28C), there is no dry season and the rainfall is totally distributed by all the year, the precipitation had a value of at least 60MM it have no summer or Winter, it is tipically hot and wet all the year and the precipitations are frequently in this places

Moonsoon climate is located in south and central america, the temperature are mostly above 10degrees, in this climates there are wet and dry seasons and also has one month of driest, it has a 60MM of precipitation but more 100

Tropical continental is found in Africa, Asia and South America, the temperature are all the years 18C, typically it has dry seasons with a driest month and it has a precipitation of less than 60MM and also less than 100MM

Hot desert climate is located in the desert of North Africa, the temperature are between (40-45C), these climate are generally hot, sunny and dry, typically and it has a precipitation of 28MM  

Tundra climate is located in northern Canada, part of Alaska, most Greenland and northern Russia, the maximum of temperature is between (7-10C) and winter temperatures reach between (-28C to -34C)it is cold through all months of the year, Precipitation totals 6-10MM, which includes melted snow.

Cold deset They occur in the Antarctic, Greenland and the Nearctic realm, The mean winter temperature is between -2 to 4° C and the mean summer temperature is between 21-26° C, The mean annual precipitation ranges from 15-26 cm. Annual precipitation has reached a maximum of 46 cm and a minimum of 9 cm.
